Rooted in culture,
built for community

The Egba Progressive Association of Houston (EPA Houston) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Yoruba cultural heritage while empowering our community through education, civic engagement, and charitable service.
Founded by Egba descendants in Houston, TX, we bridge generations — celebrating our roots, supporting our members, and giving back to the broader community we call home.
Our ProgramsServing culture,
community & beyond
We celebrate and protect Egba-Yoruba traditions through annual festivals, storytelling, music, and dance — keeping our heritage alive for the next generation.
Through our youth scholarship fund and mentorship programs, we invest in the academic and professional growth of Egba descendants across Houston and beyond.
We mobilize our membership to serve the broader Houston community — organizing health fairs, food drives, disaster relief efforts, and voter engagement initiatives.
